Miss Craighead County Rice 2010

Our program was given by Kelsy Dement, our 2010 Miss Craighead County Rice. Kelsy served us a sample of her Kelsy's Big Kreek Rice Bake which was delicious. Kelsy talked about the value of the rice production and industry in our county, state, and nation. The Miss Craighead County Rice contest is sponsored by the Craighead County Farm Bureau Insurance Co. Kelsy was accompanied by her parents, Mickey and Charlotte Dement. The Dement family was named the Craighead County Farm Family of the Year in 2005. Kelsy is a senior at Westside High School and will enroll at ASU next year.
