Lion Kevin Reed (#49) was absent and Lion President Randy Dent (#23) won the Tail Twister’s pot on the second drawing.

Attendance was great with 20 members present and 2 guests.  David Redmon, Jr. was a guest of his father Lion Dave Redmon.

The club received thank you letters from Lions World Services for the Blind, Norine Westerbeck for the National Camps for Blind Children and a letter from Lion Brad Baker, CEO for Mid South Lions Sight and Hearing Services for the funds our club gave to each of these Lions projects which our club sponsors.

Lion Bill Dickens advises we have a few pecans left to sell which we have marked down to $5.00 per bag.  This has been a great project thanks to Lion Bill Dickens.

There will be a Car Show Committee meeting next Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the Forest Home Church.  All members of the Car Show Committee should attend.  Car Show Committee members are:

The Board of Directors meeting will be at 6:30AM at Ann’s Restaurant on January 14.  All board members need to attend plus any other club members are welcome.  A good meeting for an attendance make-up.

The next flag day is Monday, January 18 for Martin Luther King, Jr. and Robert E. Lee birthdays.  We will have the signup sheet next week for flag day workers.
