Lion Bill Levins (#39) won the Tail Twisterís pot on the first drawing. Our attendance this week was 22 members plus 4 guests.
 
David Hamilton and David Utley were guests of Lion Brad Baker. Both took applications for membership. Also, Lion Hubert Bittle, with the Jonesboro Nettleton Lions Club, was a guest of Lion Brad Baker.
 
The Nettleton Club is sponsoring The Inspirations Concert to be held at the Nettleton High School Performing Arts Center on Friday, February 15 at 7:30PM. This is the 24th year that the Nettleton Club has sponsored the Inspirations and is their primary fund raising project each year. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. If you donít have tickets to see Reba, come out and hear The Inspirations and help our fellow Nettleton Lions.
 
Next Monday, February 4, there will be a car show committee meeting at 7:00PM at the Forest Home Church of the Nazarene. Every member is invited to serve on the Car Show Committee. We are asking each member to sign up at least one sponsor for the car show. Lion Ken Helman is in charge of sponsors. The Rotary Club signed more than 25 sponsors for their show this weekend.
 
Next Tuesday is our evening meeting which will also be the final meeting at Western Sizzlin at 6:00PM. Winners of our Peace Poster Contest and their parents will be honored and also members of our Leo Clubs will be guests. The program will be a speaker whose topic will be "Peace Around the World". The meal will be the food bar. Any other food plates will be at the members expense.
 
On Tuesday February 12 we will begin our breakfast meetings at The Front Page Restaurant.
 
Mr. Sam Henry, Fish Biologist for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, was our speaker this week. He talked about fish projects in local streams and lakes which the Fish & Game Commission are working with.
 
Lion Pat Snodgrass is still looking for lost flags. If you have any flags, please return them to the flag barn before our next flag day, February 18.
 
Remember the Arkansas Lions Leadership Workshop on February 16 at ASU-Beebe 9:00AM.
 
Board of Directors meeting will be February 18 at Couchís Restaurant. (Front Page is booked for Thursdays)
