Lion Cade Wilson (#27) was absent and Lion Jim Watkins (#54) won the Tail Twister’s pot.

Our attendance was 16 members plus our guest speaker.

Lions International gave our club an award for recognition of membership growth during the Lions Growth Campaign 2010.  Another patch to go on our club banner.

Due to inclement weather this week, our February Board of Directors meeting will be delayed to February 17 at Ann’s Restaurant 6:30AM.

There will be a Car Show Committee next Tuesday, February 15, at 6:30 PM at Forest Home Church.  This is a most important planning meeting for our car show.  All members on the committee are urged to attend.

Flags will fly on February 21 for Presidents Day.  Sign up next week for your favorite flag route.

Tuesday we had a most interesting program concerning the Jonesboro Foundation of the Arts.  Kristi Pulliam Community Development Director for the Foundation of the Arts presented a photo power point program on just what the Foundation of Arts has available to everyone and promotion of art education for our children and youth of Jonesboro.

Next Tuesday our speaker will be Ed Way representing the Chamber of Commerce Committee on Roads talking about the new road from Cash to Jonesboro.

Business meeting will be February 22.
