Tiffani’s
poster won 1st
place at NMS
and 3rd
place in the
District 7-0
contest for
which she
was awarded
$20.00 prize
money.
“Power of
Peace” was
the theme of
Tiffani’s
poster.
This was
our regular
monthly
business
meeting.
Lion
Secretary
Pat read the
minutes of
the February
11th
Board of
Directors
meeting and
Lion
Treasurer
Ron gave the
financial
report which
stated a
bank balance
of
$15,168.82
with
$11,268.06
in the
Activity
Fund and
$3,900.76 in
the
Operating
Fund. It
was noted
that our
pecan sales
gave the
club a net
income of
$8,344.82
plus a few
dollars more
to come in.

for his hard
work on the
Pecan Sale
project.
The next Car
Show
Committee
meeting will
be next
Tuesday,
February 23,
at 6:30 PM
at the
Forest Home
Church of
the
Nazarene.
All Car Show
Committee
members need
to attend
this
important
meeting.

turned in by

media
planning.
April 16 &
17 are the
dates for
Mid South
Lions Sight
and Hearing
Lions
Leadership
Conference.
This is a
good time to
actually see
what goes on
at Mid South
and visit
the Hamilton
Eye Clinic
on Friday.
April 23 &
24 are the
dates for
the Arkansas
Lions State
Convention
in Little
Rock. We
are entitled
to 3 votes
(32 members)
at the
convention.
If you plan

podium.
The club
voted to
purchase 10
eye glass
collection
boxes to be
placed in
offices and
businesses
in
Jonesboro.
