Lion Ed Foster (#37) was absent and Lion Charles Hartwig (#51) won the Tail Twister’s pot. Guests this week were Payton Glisson, guest of his father Lion Gary Glisson and Chuck Bari, a guest of his father Lion Tony Bari and Lion Cade Wilson. Our attendance was 29 members and 4 guests.

Congratulations to Lion Jim Bryant and Lioness Deanna on the birth of their daughter Abigale Bryant, born Monday February 16.

Please remember Lion Vern Drake in your prayers as he underwent hip surgery Tuesday.

Congratulations to Lion D. B. and Helen Price on their 50^th Wedding Anniversary this Wednesday, February 18^th.

Lion Treasurer Ed Larson advises there are several members who are in arrears with their monthly dues. Until we get income from our Car Show Project, the club is in need of operating funds.

Our Car Show Project is progressing good. We need sponsorships, ads, door prizes and goody bag stuff. Make your contacts this week for ads in the program. Deadline is Monday, March 1^st.

We had an outstanding program this week with Jason Bowen and Rennell Woods telling their stories about the City Youth Ministries. This is a most worthy project that our club and individual members could get involved with. If a person would volunteer just 1 day a month or more, the City youth Ministries could use the help. They are serving 35 to 70 kids each day in the center located at 118 Burke. Contact either Jason Bowen, Rennell Woods or Debra Williams to volunteer your services, phone 932-9398.

Next Tuesday our program will be Adam Saulsbury talking about City Water & Light.

Thanks to Lion Bobby Wood for the excellent programs this month. Lion D. B. Price will be our program chairman during the month of March.

The next meeting for the Car Show Committee is March 2^nd and the next Board of Directors meeting will be March 4.

The Jonesboro Nettleton Lions Club is sponsoring their annual gospel concert with the Inspirations at 8:00 PM in the Nettleton Performing Arts Center this Friday evening.
