Lion Treasurer Ron Erwin (#24) won the Tail Twister’s pot on the first drawing.

Attendance was 17 members plus 2 guests.

Past District Governor Norene Westerbeck was a guest of the club.

To date we now have 43 cars registered and 15 sponsors plus 1 vendor signed up for our car show.  Tuesday is the absolute deadline for sponsors to have the full advertising benefits.  We need more car entrants.

We usually stuff 150 or more goody bags.  We need items for the goody bags and also door prizes for the show participants.  Wal-Mart has contributed a large screen TV ad Pepsi Cola has donated a go cart, both to be given away at the show.

The next meeting for the Car Show Committee will be March 9 at Forest Home Church of the Nazerene at 6:30 PM.  The Board of Directors will meet on March 11 at 6:30 AM at Ann’s Restaurant.

Dr. Marti Allen, Director of the ASU Museum was our speaker this week.  Dr Allen spoke of the many programs and activities the ASU Museum is sponsoring.  The ASU Museum serves the academic mission of the university as a teaching museum.

The Jonesboro Police Chief, Michael Yates will be our speaker next week.
