Lion Bill Levins (#3) won the
Tail Twisters pot on the first drawing. We had 31 members and
no guests this week.
Lion Bill Dickens advises
you can now log onto our University Heights Lions Club web
site for our weekly bulletin and other information pertaining
to our Lions Club. The web site address is
http://www.universityheightslionsclub.com.
Thanks to Lion Bill and his brother Joe for putting this
together for our club.
Lion Gary Glisson is
collecting information on each member to put together a U-H
Lions Club directory. If you have not given him your personal
information, please do so now. He also asks for those members
who write like doctors to please print the information.
Lion Bobby Wood reported
that Lion Claud Cash is still in Little Rock at the UAMS
undergoing chemo treatment for some form of leukemia. Please
continue to pray for Lion Claud.
Our car show is now only
2-1/2 weeks away. Its most imperative that we get every member
involved in securing goody-bag items, door prizes and being
prepared to work on the 19, 20, and 21 at the Convocation
Center. Sign up next week for the shifts you can work. Next
week is our regular business meeting and we will have more
information on the car show.
Lion D.B. Price has the
following programs scheduled for the month of March:
