Lion Don Vineyard won the
Tail Twisters pot on the first drawing. We had 26 members
and 3 guests this week. Guests were Payton Glisson, son of
Lion Gary Glisson, Val Price whose father was a past member
of the club, and Greg Chance of KASU. Heath Meeks was
welcomed back from his trip to China.
Lion Gary Glisson
reminded the members to return their information sheet for
the UHLC Directory.
Lion Car Show
Co-Chairman gave a nice PowerPoint pep rally for the car
show.
Our program was given by
Don Parker of the Craighead County Election Committee. He
discussed the composition of the committee, voter turnout,
and new election changes.
Our car show is this
weekend!!! Goody bags were stuffed on Tuesday evening. There
are still a few advanced tickets left and anyone who has
picked up their tickets need to pay for them as soon as
possible.
Workers are still needed
for the layout and start up at 8:45 on Friday morning and
check in on Friday afternoon. If you signed up to help,
please remember to come.
