The
Tail Twister’s pot was won by our Lion
Treasurer Vern Drake, ole lucky 13 on
the first drawing.
There
were no guests and our attendance was 26
members
.
Lion
Brad Baker gave some last minute
instructions concerning our Car Show
this week and gave the minutes of the
March 16 Board of Directors meeting.
Lion Treasurer Vern read the financial
report of February 28 which stated a
bank balance of $19,428.75 with
$2,738.75 in the Operating Fund and
$16,690.00 in the Activity Fund.
Still
needing door prizes for the participants
of the car show. Many restaurant
businesses will give free meals for door
prizes. These need to be contacted this
week and turned in to the car show
committee anytime Friday as we are
setting up the show.
Dyean’s
House Board of Directors meeting will be
Thursday, march 23 at 6:30 PM at Dyean’s
House on Flint Street. All Lions are
welcome to attend.
Next
weeks speaker will be Dick Freer,
Associate professor of Social Work at
ASU. His subject will be "Children of
Incarcerated Parents". Invite a
guest!!!!
