Twister Brad Baker (#50) again was the winner of
the pot.
We had no
guests and our attendance was 24 members
present.
Please,
everyone, sign up to work White Cane next week
on April 12 & 13 - Thursday and Friday, working
from 3:00 to 9:00 PM on 1.5 hour shifts. Lion
Ron Erwin is our White Cane Chairman this year.
There is a
vacancy on the board of directors of Dyeann’s
House since Lion Bryan Ulmer resigned. Anyone
who wishes to serve on the board of Dyeann’s
House, please advise Lion President Ken Helman.

of the Quarter Award for his great work on the
Car Show and Auction.
Dr. Bill
Clements was our speaker this week. Dr. Clements
has been a professor at ASU since 1971 and has a
daily program on KASU around 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM
about Folk Lore and Mythology Folk Life. He
talked about Calendar Folk Lore.
Attention all
golfers - The Links is celebrating 10 years in
Jonesboro and is sponsoring the "Scramble for
Sight" Golf Tournament. This will be a two
person scramble Saturday, April 21, 9:00 AM Tee
time, 27 holes and lunch for $70.00 per team.

All proceeds benefit the Mid-South Lions Sight
and Hearing Program.
