Lion Charles Hartwig (#51) was the lucky winner of the Tail Twisterís pot.
 
Our attendance was 23 members with no guests.
 
It was so good to see Lion Jim McAlister back in our den this week. Lion Jim, you looked good and our prayers are continually being sent up for you. We love you Lion Jim, and hope you can be with us again soon.
 
The State Convention is this weekend and we have a good delegation going to North Little Rock for the activities on Saturday.
 
We had to reschedule the White Cane Days until a later date because of a new policy that Wal Mart is enacting for service clubs soliciting funds.
 
Our speaker this week was Mr. Robert (Bob) Montgomery with FedEx. Bob is a retired pilot from the U.S. Navy serving on the USS Forestal retiring in 1989. He is now a pilot for FedEx. Bob talked about the growth of FedEx and the operation of FedEx worldwide. He stated there are approximately 1000 flights per day by FedEx. The title of his talk was "A Pilotís View of FedEx". It was a most informative talk about FedEx.
 
Golfers, remember the golf tournament on Saturday, April 21, at the Links. Tee time is 9:00 AM, 27 holes of golf and lunch for $70.00 per team. All proceeds benefit the Mid South Sight and Hearing Program. "Scramble for Sight" Golf Tournament, sign up in the Links Pro Shop or call 932-2578.
