White Cane Days
will be May 17 & 18 at Wal-Mart Store on Highland.
Keep these dates open and sign up to work one or two
shifts. There were a lot of empty slots on the sign
up sheet. Lion Ron Erwin is chairman for White Cane.
The next flag day
will be May 19 for Armed Forces Day and also we will
fly the flags on May 28 for Memorial Day.
PDG Pat Snodgrass
has agreed to be the president of Dyeann's House,
2007-08. We appreciate his continued devotion to
service helping with this project.
Remember to keep
the date of June 29 open for our annual awards and
installation of officers banquet. This will be at
the Jonesboro Country Club. We need a good turnout
for this, as we have to guarantee 50 plates. We now
have 30 signed up for the awards banquet. Cost of
the meal will be $14.25 per person.
