Lion Albert Frankenberger (#4) won
the Tail Twister’s pot on the first drawing.
Guests this week were former
Lion Gene Moody, guest of Lion Bobby Wood and Mr. Driss Elakrich
was a guest of Lion Charles Hartwig. Attendance was 28 members
and 3 guests.
We had an excellent program
this week by Col. Michael Moody, commanding officers of the U.S.
Army 4th Brigade, 4th Infantry Division,
which recently returned from a years deployment in Iraq. Col.
Moody gave us a very informative talk and video presentation on
the war in Iraq. Mike is the son of former Lion Gene Moody and
nephew of Lion Leon and Betty Lee. He is a graduate of ASU ROTC.
Thanks to all Lions who
worked flag routes Saturday, May 15th for Armed
Forces Day. Our next flag day will be May 31 for Memorial Day.

The date of June 29th
has been set for our annual installation of new officers and
awards banquet. More information on this later.
