Lion Marcy Harrell (#17) was the winner of the Tail Twister’s pot.

Guests this week were Payton Glisson and David Redmon, Attendance was 24 members present.

Continue to pray for Lion Charles Hartwig and the parents of Lion Eric Grant. Lion Charles is now home recuperating from his heart surgery last week.

Next Tuesday, June 14 is Flag Day. We will fly the flags, weather permitting next Tuesday. As of our meeting this week all routes have been assigned except the Johnson Ave. route.

Our speaker this week was Mrs. Cari White, Executive Vice President of the Jonesboro Reginal Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. White talked to us about the involvement of the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce in our community. The mission of the Chamber of Commerce is to enhance the quality of life in our community through service, leadership and economic development.

Next week our program will be Mr. Paul Copeland, Director of Community & Economic Development with the MPO Transit System. Invite a guest next week.

Our Board of Directors will meet next week on Thursday at 6:30 AM at Couch’s Restaurant . All incoming and outgoing board members need to attend.

Remember the Installation & Awards banquet will be June 28 at 6:30 PM at Western Sizzlin. Council Chairman Jeff Boone will install our new officers. There will not be a meeting that morning for breakfast.
