This meeting was our
annual Awards and Installation of officers banquet. Our
attendance was 20 members plus 14 guests. Thanks to
Lioness Charlotte Grant for the table decorations and
balloons. Lion Bobby Wood (#35) was the winner of the Tail
Twister’s pot.

Lion President Eric
Grant presented each of his board members and committee
chairman with certificates of appreciation for their work
for the club during the past year. The following Lions
were presented with the Lions of the Quarter award:

The Lion of the Year
Award was given to Lion Brad Baker.
The Edward Dalstrom
Distinguished Service Award was presented to Lion Ken
Helman and Bill Levins.
There was a moment of
silent prayer for Lion V.T. Walker, a member of the
Jonesboro Nettleton Lions Club who passed away last week.
Lion V.T. was a faithful Lion member who worked diligently
on all Lion activities. He will be missed.
Past District Governor
and Council Chairman Lion Jeff Boone installed our new
club officers.
We will have a flag
day next Monday for July 4th. Lets have all
flag routes displayed for our nations birthday.
Next Tuesday our
program will be Stephanie Joiner with the Arkansas
Employment Security Department. Invite a guest next
week!!!!!!!!!
