Lion Bill Levins (#39) won the Tail Twister’s pot on the first drawing.
Our attendance was 17 members plus 2 guests. Mr. Jerry Casteel was a guest of Lion Bill Levins.
Lion 1st Vice President Larry Hinck presided in the absence of President Lion Brad Baker. Lion Tony Bari is our new song leader, taking over from our Intrepid Song Leader Lion Don Vineyard who has had to resign for personal reasons. We will miss Lion Don and hope he will be able to return to our den soon.
Our program this week was brought by Mr. Mikel Fears, Sales Manager for the Jonesboro office of Suddenlink. Mikel talked about the different products and services which can be obtained thru Suddenlink such as Digital TV, High Definition TV, Digital Video Recorders, Video on Demand, TV Caller ID, Phone, High-Speed Internet, Home Security and WiFi @ Home.
Thanks to all members who worked flag routes last week and Monday. This was the first time we had flown the flags 4 days and we did not lose a single flag. Our next flag day will be September 6 for Labor Day.
The Board of Directors will meet on July 15 at Ann’s Restaurant, 6:30 AM.
