Dale McKinney’s number was drawn,
however, in his absence Lion Charles
Hartwig (#51) won the Tail Twister’s
pot on the second drawing. Our
attendance was 16 members present
with no guests.
Lion Dale McKinney
has moved to St. Bernard’s Village
at 1807 Frank Hall Circle.
This being our
monthly business meeting the club
secretary read the minutes of the
July 16 Board of Directors meeting.
Lion Tommy White presented the final
financial report for year 2008-09
which showed a bank balance on June
30 in the amount of $10,092.61 with
$5,499.29 in the Activity Fund and
$4,593.32 in the Operating Fund.
Lion Tommy advised
the auction of the contents of
Dyeann’s House should give about
$4000 to $5000 to Dyeann’s House.
This year’s Mid South
Lions Sight and Hearing Annual
Auction will be in Memphis on August
7th. Our club has
reserved a table for 8 persons.

Forum to be at the Cook Convention
Center in Memphis on September
24-26. This is a great opportunity
for members to attend a USA/Canada
Lions Leadership Forum so close to
home. We need reservations to be
made by August 1 for registration
discounts. There will be some great
key-note speakers at the Forum, plus
lots of seminars to help you be a
better informed Lion. Give your
registration to Lion Brad Baker.
