Lion Bill Hester (#60) drew his own number and paid every memberís fine. Our attendance was only 14 members plus 1 guest. We had several members out of town or sick.

Invite a guest or prospective member next week. Greg Chance with KASU was a guest of the club.

Lion Tony Bari led our singing - the get together song and Lion Bill Dickens was our Tail Twister.

Keep Lion Ed Larson in your prayers. He and his family need our thoughts and prayers every day.

Lions Bill Levins and Don Vineyard have agreed to serve on the Board of Directors for our Dyeanís House.

There will be a District 7-0 Cabinet meeting at Dyeanís House this Saturday, July 26, at 10:00 AM. All Lions are invited to attend the District Governorís Cabinet meeting.

Lion Tony Bari, a Lion since August 21, 1979, and owner and pharmacist of WoodSprings Pharmacy, was our speaker this week. Lion Tony gave us the facts about shingles. Almost half a million shingles cases in the United States each year occur in people 60 years of age and older. 1 out of 2 people who live to age 85 will have shingles. There is a vaccine on the market to help with the treatment of the shingles at a cost of approximately $200.00.

Next week our speaker will be Dr. C. Brandt Smith, Jr., Director, Consultant and trainer with Millennium Relief and Development Services & Financial Management Services, Baghdad, Iraq.

Eva Tilley (our waitress at Western Sizzlen) is coming back to town to visit family and friends and is hopping to see all of us Tuesday at next Lions Club meeting.
