This was a sad week
for our club in the loss of Lion Ed Larson. Lion Ed
was a faithful member of our club since May of 1983
and until he became ill had 25 years of 100%
attendance. While he lived in Florida he was the
District Governor of Florida District 35-F from 1999
- 2000. Lion Ed was one of the main members who
organized the car show. Lion Ed was most active in
every project of our club, plus the state projects
of Mid South, LWSB, and Lions of Arkansas
Foundation. He was a Melvin Jones Fellow, a
recipient of the Edwin Dalstrom Distinguished
Service Award and was a Life Member of our club. We
will surely miss Lion Ed.
