This Saturday,
August 6 at 6:30 AM, the Flag Committee will meet at the
Flag Barn to inspect and remove the flags from their
staffs to be laundered by Magic Touch Cleaners. If you
can help, please do so this Saturday.
The Annual Mid-South
Lions Golf Tournament will be Friday, September 30, at
The Club at North Greek located at 8770 North Greek
Boulevard, Southhaven, Ms. This will be a four person
schamble (not scramble). For more information call

Our Speaker this
week was ASU Football Coach Steve Roberts. Coach Roberts
gave us a good inspirational talk on how he prepares his
team to do their best in the class rooms as well as on
the field. He gave us a good rundown on the 2005 ASU
Football program with good possibilities for a winning
season.
Next Tuesday our
speaker will be Craighead County Sheriff Jack McCann.

Our prayers and
condolences go to the family of Past District Governor
Jim Russell who passed away Sunday, July 31. Jim was a
member of our Lions Club from 1968 until 1990. He was
7-0 District Governor from 1981-82.
