McKinney won the Tail Twister’s pot on the 1st
drawing.
Guests this week were David Redmon, guest
of his father Lion Dave Redmon, Payton

Glisson and Mr. John Masterson guest of Lion
Dale McKinney. John has submitted his
application for membership to be voted on at
our next Board of Directors meeting.
Thanks to those Lions who helped putting
the flags back on their staffs last
Saturday. Our next Flag Day will be Monday,
September 5 for Labor Day. We will also have
a flag day on Monday 12 for Patriots Day.
Our speaker this week was Mr. Jerry
Biebesheimer, Director of the Fowler Center
at ASU. He gave us some good information on
what will be going on at the Fowler Center
during the next 6 months with some good
entertaining events.

new prescription drug program which becomes
effective in January 2006.

Thursday, September 15 at Couch’s Restaurant
at 6:30 AM.
White Cane Day will be Thursday and
Friday, September 22 and 23 at the Highland
Drive Wal Mart Store.
FYI- With the chartering of the Khartoum
Lions Club in the Republic of Sudan the
International Association of Lions Clubs now
has clubs in 194 nations or geographical
areas with more than 1,337,000 members.
Pray for the victims of Hurricane
Katrina. Lions International’s 2006
International Convention is scheduled to be
in New Orleans July 10 - 14, 2006.
