Lion
Secretary Ed Larson (#46) won the Tail
Twister’s pot on the first drawing.
Guests this week were soon to be
member, John Masterson, a guest of
Lion Dale McKinney and David Redmon, a
guest of his father, Lion Dave Redmon.
Lion Ken Helman announced there
will be a yard clean up at Dyeann’s
House this Friday from 6:00 to 8:00
PM. Bring your brooms and yard rakes.
We will fly the flags this
Sunday, September 11, for
Patriots Day.
The Auction Committee has set the
date of December 10 for our 2005 Lions
Club Auction. The next Car Show
Committee meeting will be Tuesday,
September 20, at the Forest Home
Church of the Nazarene at 7:00 PM.
The Board of Directors will meet at
Couch’s Restaurant at 6:30 AM
Thursday, September 15.
Our program this week was brought
by our three local high school
football coaches, Jim Devazier from
Jonesboro High, Donnie Tennison from
Nettleton and Wayne Harris from
Westside. They each talked about their
teams and schools that they are
scheduled to play this season.
Next Tuesday our speaker will be
Mr. Shawn Morgan with the Social
Security Administration with
information about the prescription
drug programs that goes into effect in
January 2006.

Cane. We need 100% + for this project.
Wives, sweethearts, kids and friends
are welcome to help. See Lion Gary
Glisson for the time slot needed to
work.
