More workers needed at the Disaster
Relief Centers set up by the Red Cross and
Salvation Army. They are needing luggage
or tote bags. If you wish to donate take
them to any disaster center.
Next week we will have two club
activities- at the Fair we will need
members to man our booth for Dyeann’s
House and at Wal Mart on Highland we will
have White Cane Day on Thursday and
Friday. See Lion Ken Helman for work at
the Fair and Lion Gary Glisson for White
Cane. For White Cane we will be working 1
½ hour shifts staring at 3:00 PM to 9:00
PM. Working shifts at the Fair booth will
be 2 hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Wednesday and Thursday.
There will be a car show committee
meeting next Tuesday, September 20 at the
Forest Home Church of the Nazerene at 7:00
PM.
We need four members to play in the
2005 Mid-South Lions Golf Tournament on
Friday, September 30 at The Club at North
Creek, Southaven, Mississippi.
