Your
Bulletin Editor, Lion #2 won the Tail
Twister’s pot on the first drawing.
There were no guests and our attendance
was 26 members.
This
was our monthly business meeting with
the Secretary reading the minutes of the
September 15 board meeting and the
Treasurer giving the financial report.
As of August 31 our club bank account
was $3,443.24 with $2,192.36 in the
Activity Account and $1,250.88 in the
Operating Account.
This
is the Northeast Arkansas Regional Fair
week and also White Cane Days. The
Dyeann’s House booth at the fair is to
be worked by our club on Wednesday and
Thursday. Each time slot has been signed
for, call Lion Ken Helman if for some
reason you cannot cover your shift. The
White Cane work schedule has been signed
for every shift but there are several
shifts that only have 1 person working.
If you can work additional shifts please
call Lion Gary Glisson at 870-897-1899.
White Cane is to be worked Thursday and
Friday from 3:00 to 9:00 PM.
The
next meeting of the Auction Committee
will be next Tuesday evening at the
Forest Home Church of the Nazarene at
7:00 PM.
Lion
President Bill has called for a meeting
of the Vice Presidents and any other
members to meet with him on Thursday,
September 29.

We
are still needing four members to play
in the 2005 Mid-South Lions Golf
Tournament on Friday, September 30 at
The Club at North Creek, Southaven,
Mississippi.

have some interesting programs scheduled
to invite a prospective member. Still
needing a new member for October.
