2nd Vice President Lion Larry Hinck presided over our meeting this week.  Lion President Randy Dent (#23) and Jim Hall (#19) were absent and Lion Don Vineyard (#18) won the Tail Twister’s pot on the third drawing.

Great News – Lion Robert Bahn is transferring to our club from the Mountain Home Lions Club.  Robert was a member of our club from 1978 thru 1996 and was our Tail Twister in 1993-94.  Welcome home Lion Robert.  Our attendance was 16 members.

Our condolences go out to Lion Eric Grant and his family for the death of his mother.  Memorials will be sent to Mid South Lions Sight and Hearing and Lions World Services for the Blind.

Lion Brad Baker reported the USA/Canada/Lions Leadership Forum was a great success with 2,777 Lions registered in attendance for the three day event.

Our program this week was Becky McDaniel Ewart talking about the St. Bernard’s Senior Life Center.  The Senior Life Center is open Monday thru Friday with many programs for senior citizens to take part in.  The Senior Life Center provides lunch every day at a cost of $2.00 for persons 60 or over and $3.00 for all others.  They also provide meals for the shut-ins.

Speaking of food, this is the weekend for the annual Blessed Sacrament Fall Festival with good barbeque dinners to carry out.
