Lion Bryan Ulmer reported on the recent SPOT screening in Blytheville and noted there were a few glitches. He suggested an extra set of printer ink cartridges be taken along on each screening session.
Lion Charles Hartwig was absent from Tuesday's meeting due to some health issues of Mary.
Lion Bill Dickens announced that the pecans are in and added that the price of $8 per bag will remain this year despite an increase in price.
Tuesday's program was by Lion Curt Hodges on his "Bucket List" trip in August the Wendover, Utah for the annual Southern California Timing Association Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
He also talked about the Wendover Air Field, a now-closed World War II training field for B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator crews and the crew of the B-29 Superfortress that dropped the first atomic bomb used in wartime, Little Boy, on Hiroshima, Japan.
Thanks to Lion Jim Watkins for use of his laptop computer for the slide show.
