and one guest and one speaker present. The
speaker was Brittany Roedel of Jonesboro, Miss
Craighead County Rice. The one guest was Jerry
Casteel, guest of Bill Levins.
Jim Watkins called the meeting to order at 6:50
a.m. after every one had been sufficiently fed.
Bill Dickens was tail twister; Donnie Kissinger
the song leader and Brad Baker led the prayer.

talked to the club about rice in Arkansas, the
state's leading agricultural crop. She also
noted that Arkansas is the leading
rice-producing state in the US and at that
produces a small portion of the overall rice
production in the world. Her family grows rice,
soybeans and corn in Craighead County near Bay.
Chairman for October is Lion Tony Bari, who
introduced the speaker.
were reminded of a TV Auction meeting to be
held on Monday, Nov. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the
Forest Home Church of the Nazarene Youth
Building. which is across the street from Ritter
Communications off Windover Road.
Flags will be
put out on Nov. 11 for National Veterans Day and
Lions were reminded of White Cane Day to be at
Walmart on Highland Drive on Nov. 6 and 7.
