This was a business meeting with the Secretary reading the minutes of the November 9 Board of Directorsí meeting and the Treasurer giving the club financial report which stated a bank balance of $6,919.50 with $2,404.41 in the Activity Fund and $4,515.09 in the Operating Fund. Lion Ron Erwin advised our White Cane Days receipts amounted to $1,622.77 which was excellent for the Wednesday and Thursday work days. Thanks to all members who worked White Cane and especially those members who worked more than one shift.
We are now launching our Pecan Sale Project. Lions Ken Stallings and Bill Dickens asks all members to get your supply of pecans which sell for $7.00 per bag or $20.00 for 3 bags. The varieties we have are plain, salted & roasted, English Walnuts, Chocolate Covered, and cashews. Since funds in the Activity Account are running tight at the present time, Lion Treasurer Vern asks the members to pay in advance to selling the pecans if possible.
