This week our club toured the Arkansas Bio-Science Institute building on the ASU campus. There were 18 members and guests touring the facility which was most informative. Donuts, fruit and orange juice were furnished by Lion Charles Hartwig.

This is the final week to work the Lions TV Auction on December 9. We really are in great need of items for the auction. As of Tuesday, we only had enough items for about 2 hours of auction time. Also, we are taking orders for Boston Butts. Please advise Lions Brad Baker or Javaine Furnatter at Liberty Bank if you have taken orders for the Boston Butts. They sell for $25.00 each. The next meeting for the Auction Committee will be Monday, Dec. 4 at Forest Home Church of the Nazarene. Every member needs to get involved in our auction project. The auction items are being collected at Lion Albert Frankenbergerís office.

If you have not read your Lion Magazine November issue, there is a nice article about former President Lion Jimmy Carter and his work in Africa fighting blindness through Lions Internationalís Campaign Sight First II.

Lion Leon Lee has the following programs scheduled:
December 5 Charlotte Jones CPA, Tax Saving Tips for 2006
December 12 Christmas party at Mongolian Grill, 6:30PM (no breakfast meeting)
December 19 Dr. Bruce Tippit, Pastor of First Baptist Church
December 26 No meeting

Programs Chairmen for the following months:
January - Lion Ron Erwin
February - Lion Bobby Wood
March - Lion Tony Bari
April - Lion Charles Hartwig

If you have suggestions for programs next year, advise any member of the Program Committee.

We still have pecans to sell. Letís try to conclude this project by our last meeting in December. See Lions Bill Dickens or Ken Stallings for your supply of pecans.

Lion Ken Stallings invites all members and families to attend the Forest Home Church of the Nazareneís "A Dream and a Prayer" Christmas musical drama scheduled for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:00PM. Call the church office for your FREE tickets.
