attendance this week was good with 29 members
present and 2 guests.

This is a busy week
for our club, flag day on Wednesday for Pearl Harbor
Day, Salivation Army ringing of the bells on
Thursday and our Lions Club Auction on Saturday.
Itís still not too late to get items for our
auction, turn them into Lion Albert Frankenberger by
Friday. We need every member working the Auction on
Saturday for anytime beginning at 8:00 AM until 4:00
If you want a
Boston Butt please get your order into Lion Brad
immediately. They sell for $25.00 and there will
only be 50 sold. They can be picked up Saturday
afternoon about 3:00 PM.
Lion Bill Dickens
still has pecans to sell. In addition to the plain,
chocolate, salted and roasted and cashews we now
have English Walnuts available. Get yours next
Tuesday or call Lions Bill at Cache Beauty Supply.
The Car Show
Committee will meet next Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the
Forest Home Church of the Nazaerene. Any Club member
is welcome to attend. This is a good time to make up
that missed meeting.
Our speaker this
week was our own Lion Tony Bari talking about
Medicare assistance for prescription drug coverage.
Dr. Bruce Tippit,
pastor of First Baptist Church will bring a
Christmas message to us next Tuesday.
December 19 is the
date of our Christmas party at the Imperial Dinner
Theater in Pocahontas Dinner will be served from
6:30 to 7:00 PM followed with a presentation of the
