Lion Tamer Eric Grant (#14) won the pot on the first drawing.

Lion Don led in singing Joy To The World, Lion David Redmon led the pledge and Lion Tony prayed.  Our attendance was 16 members plus 1 guest.

The two items left over from the auction were auctioned off and Lion Bill Dickens paid $28.50  for the $50.00 savings bond and Lion Dave  Redmon paid $75.00 for the oak tree.

Our guest speaker was Mr. Gerald Barber talking about the Celebrate Recovery 12 Step Program at the Nettleton Baptist Church.  This Christ-Centered Program is for people with Hurts, Hangups, and Habits.  The groups meet every Friday night starting with a fellowship meal at 6:00 PM  followed by meetings of large groups 6:30 – 7:30 and open share group at 7:30-8:30.

This was our final meeting for 2009.  Our next meeting will be at Ann’s Restaurant on January 5, 2010.  Let’s start off the new year with every member attending our meetings and inviting guests and new member prospects.

Lion Curt Hodges will be our program chairman for the month of January.
